This past week the first picture of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man was released. If anything is to be taken by a simple picture it can be the design of the film. The suit itself to me gives off a very 'gothic' vibe. Does this mean that Spider-Man will be a slightly darker film than before? With The Dark Knight having taken in a billion dollars at the box office in 2008, many studios thought comic book films should take a more 'darker' approach. But what works for one movie, dosen't always work for another. However we can only speculate at this time without seeing anything substancial yet. I myself like the suit for certain things and dislike it for others. I find the spider logo rather attractive but the red on the suit looks like blood which is something I dont like in particular. Overall instead of over-analyzing anything or jumping to conclusions I think we should take it for what it is, just a picture. What are your thoughts on the new suit?
